Michael Neithardt
Palmy Inn is led by co-founding producer, writer/director, Michael Neithardt. Bringing over 20 years of industry experience, Michael has produced and executive produced hundreds of commercials, television show packages and online and print campaigns for leading worldwide agencies and networks. He was an executive producer at Psyop, Stardust Studios and Block & Tackle and previously held posts at Miramax Films, MTV Networks and Blacklist. Through his years of experience he developed a dedication to creating a comfortable, productive and collaborative environment for artists and clients alike – which now informs the creative process at Palmy Inn.
Vanessa Lenz Neithardt
Palmy Inn co-founder Vanessa Lenz Neithardt is an award-winning photographer who has been creating captivating and diverse images in fashion, portraiture and still life for over 20 years. In addition to her photography, she has filmed and creative directed live action projects including short films, commercials and social media campaigns. Vanessa leads Palmy Inn’s Documentary division overseeing and working hands on with the creative team to bring imagination and elegance to show opens, archival photography treatments and overall GFX esthetic.
Filipe Carvalho
Emmy Award winning creative director Filipe Carvalho lends his distinct voice and cinematic eye to network rebrands, film title sequences and commercials. Born and raised in Lisbon, Filipe grew up watching foreign television and films, fascinated by American pop culture and dreaming of one day being a part of it all. Now an established name in the industry, Filipe has spoken at Festivals around the globe including OFFF, FITC and Semi Permanent. In 2017, he launched his studio Foreign Affairs—extending his reach into the realm of live action production and filmmaking.
Joshua Harvey
Los Angeles based Director Joshua Harvey is one of our industries most sought after visual storytellers. Joshua brings over 15 years of industry experience, having most recently served as Creative Director at Buck LA. His short film ‘Good Books - Metamorphosis’ is referenced the world over and his work has been honored with a Clio, London International Awards Gold, as well as being a Finalist at the Cannes Lions Festival. Joshua has a meticulous attention to detail and goes above and beyond to bring stories to life with his clients. Simply put, you need to work with him. He is genius.
Magoo
Based in Sweden, Magoo is a Cannes Lions award-winning production studio. Established in 2000, their work has been seen all over the world. They are known for their awe-inspiring 3D animation, live action and design. Magoo works closely with their clients to deliver high-end, meticulously managed content with a smile. They have twice been recognized with the Cannes Lions Grand Prix, amongst numerous other awards.
Gordon Waltho
Gordon Waltho is an industry leading director and designer. He began his career at Psyop NY where he was responsible for directing and designing some of the studio’s highest profile commercials. He has since branched out and for over ten years he has been responsible for the aesthetic of hundreds of leading show packages, promos and commercials. He is known for his ability to set the design tone for productions, react to the changing needs of projects and the ability to lead his teams with a cool head and collaborative approach. He also loves his motorcycle and life size blow up sharks.
